Texas Tech University is hosting the fourth annual Discoveries to Impact Week from March 28 through April 1. DTI is a week-long celebration of research, engagement, innovations and startups.

The week will include two dynamic keynote speakers, the 14th annual Undergraduate Research Conference, the Center for the Integration of STEM Education and Research Undergraduate Research Scholars Banquet, a Visual and Performing Arts exhibition at the First Friday Art Trail, the fourth annual Engaged Scholarship Symposium and the Texas Tech Accelerator Competition.

The Texas Tech Accelerator Competition will be held April 1 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Innovation Hub at Research Park. The competition will give startup companies the opportunity to win $25,000 grants, co-working space and mentors with acceptance into the Texas Tech Accelerator Program.

To end the week, DTI will host a closing ceremony on April 1 from 5-6 p.m. at the Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences. This ceremony will feature an awards social with more than $200,000 awarded to various students, faculty and startup teams.

All events are free and open to the public.
