Ahead of next week’s product launch, OnePlus today pulled back the curtain on its true wireless earbuds, showing off a photo of the headphones and promising they can last for seven hours on a single charge.

The OnePlus Buds have been designed to hit the sweet spot between affordability and great performance, CEO Pete Lau wrote in a forum post. In addition, the Chinese vendor has been working to ensure the product offers long battery life.

“To be specific, they are good for over seven hours of continuous use, and can be fully topped up more than three times from just their charging case, giving you up to 30 hours of use before you have to plug in again,” he added.

That’s not bad. For comparison, the $149.99 Samsung Galaxy Buds+ last 11 hours, although the charging case only holds one extra full charge.

The new headphones from OnePlus also promise to be light. Each earbud weighs in at 4.6 grams while the charging case comes in at 36 grams—or close to the same heft as the second-gen Apple AirPods.

Lau remained mum on other details about the product, including the price and whether the earbuds will have active noise cancellation. But the headphones have been optimized to work best with a OnePlus smartphone. “For instance, when in gaming mode on your OnePlus device, the OnePlus Buds achieve ultra-low latency, approaching the speed of wired headphones,” he said.

Also today, OnePlus provided YouTuber Marques Brownlee a sneak peek of its upcoming OnePlus Nord product, a midrange smartphone expected to retail under $500.

Unfortunately, the Nord is first slated to launch in India and Europe, and it’s unclear whether it’ll be sold in the US. OnePlus has, however, promised to launch more affordable phones to the North American market in the near future.

The company will officially introduce the Nord and OnePlus Buds on Tuesday, July 21.
